The Andhra Pradesh government has been conferring awards and cash prizes annually to all the village ward volunteers (grama ward volunteers) across the state. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan to launch this program for the fourth consecutive year today i.e, on 15th February 2024.
Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy launches the program from Phirangipuram of Guntur district today.
Total 255464 volunteers to receive the awards
This year a total of 255464 volunteers to receive the awards under three categories.
First Category is Seva Vajra – 875 Volunteers selected
Second Category is Seva Ratna – 4150 Volunteers selected
The third category is Seva Mitra – Remaining 250439 to receive this award.
This year’s Awards Amount increased
Seva Vajra amount increased to – 45000 Rupees
Seva Ratna amount increased to – 30000 Rupees
Seva Mitra amount increased to – 15000 Rupees.
