CCRC Applications are open in AP for Tenant Farmers

Important update for the tenant farmers of Andhra Pradesh: Crop Cultivator Rights Cards (CCRC) for tenant farmers are being issued by the revenue department in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Only those who tenant farmers having this card will be eligible to register their crop. It is known fact that the government is implementing crop insurance, input subsidy and other agricultural schemes based on crop registration.

With the CCRC card Tenant farmers will get the benefit of all the government schemes being implemented for them. Post having this card, crop registration and other schemes can be availed.

Farmers who do not have their own land and grow crops on other people’s land have been given an opportunity to apply for CCRC Cards in VRO Login.

Documents required to get CCRC cards

  • Land Owner Pass Book Xerox
  • Land Owner Aadhaar Card Xerox
  • Tenant Aadhaar Card Xerox
  • Tenant Bank Account Xerox
  • Agreement document for 11 months on ₹10/- revenue bond paper

Uses of CCRC Card

  • This card is important for selling the harvested crop at purchase centers for all communities including OC
  • This card is required to get compensation in case of crop damage
  • Only holders of this card are eligible for crop insurance
  • The tenant farmers belonging to BC, SC, ST and Minorities have to apply for this card to get benefits under Annadata Sukhibhava (Formerly YSR Rythu Bharosa) scheme.

How to Apply for CCRC Cards

Those who wish to get the card can submit all the above mentioned documents to your VRO, who will verify your details and grant the card to the eligible ones

Note : CCRC Card is issued only by VROs

What to do after getting CCRC cards

After getting the CCRC card a copy should be given to the Village Agriculture Assistants at your concerned Village/Ward Secretariat.
