The government of Andhra Pradesh released Financial assistance under YSR Kalyanamasthu and YSR Shaadi Tohfa schemes for the newly married couple in the state.
October – December Tranche Released
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has released the funds of YSR Kalyanamasthu and Shaadi Tohfa for the couples married in the October’s -December Quarter. The amount was directly released into the accounts of bride’s Mother.
The government has released 78.53 crore rupees into the accounts of 10,132 eligible beneficiaries.
YSR Kalyanamasthu and YSR Shaadi Tohfa amounts for various categories
The government provides financial assistance to SC,ST,BC, Minority, Pwd along with the children of construction workers as below.
- SC – ₹100000
- SC [Intercaste] – ₹1,20,000
- ST – ₹100000
- ST[Intercaste] – ₹1,20,000
- BC – ₹50000
- BC [Intercaste] – ₹75000
- Minority [including Dudekula]- ₹100000
- Pwd – ₹150000
- Children of Construction workers – ₹40000
Note: Eligibility for the couple to benefit from the scheme is 10th Pass + Residence of AP and only applicable for 1st Marriage.
