The Telangana government which has accepted application forms to implement its six guarantee schemes is fast tracking the verification process.
The government which has accepted the applications till January 6th has successfully completed the data entry for more than 1.2 crore applications received all over the state.
Applicants are being notified with SMS messages regarding the Verification
The applicants who have applied for guarantee schemes through the Praja Palana program are being notified regarding the verification and the documents to be kept ready through SMS on their registered number.
A message in this record as below is being received by the applicants by respective departments. It is currently understood that applications under graha jyoti scheme are being prioritised.
The government is planning to implement two more schemes which are part of 6 guarantee schemes this month. This includes Graha Jyoti scheme free electricity upto 200 units and rs 500 gas cylinder under Mahalakshmi scheme.
What applicants should do
Applicants should keep their documents ready for the verification.
The documents mentioned in the message are:
- Receipt of Praja palana application
- Aadhar number with local address
- Ration card or Food security card
As the government has already announced that it would conduct the Praja palana program every four months, the next phase of the program is scheduled in the month of April or May. Those who had missed applying in the first phase can keep their documents ready and apply in the second phase.
