New Web Portal to Replace Dharani in Telangana says Minister

The State IT Minister Sridhar Babu on Tuesday revealed that a new web portal will be made available soon in place of the existing Dharani Portal for land and property registration and mapping.

The current Government has already made it clear that it would ban Dharani Portal and it cites many discrepancies in it.

The Minister also made it clear that the government is going to take strict action against those officials or ex politicians who had given away government lands with false documents and data.

He iterated that lakhs of farmers and land owners are suffering due to the irregularities in the existing portal.  He stated that the lands named Part-B in the same survey number will be further investigated and a decision will be taken.

Sridhar Babu revealed these details in the Ranga Reddy Zilla Parishad general meeting which was held in Khairatabad on Tuesday. Sridhar Babu is currently serving as the in-charge minister of the district.

He also made it clear that Gruha jyoti and Mahalakshmi schemes will soon be started. He revealed that electricity charges will not be collected from those households whose electricity consumption is up to 200 units and a subsidy of Rs.500 per gas cylinder will be given to the eligible beneficiaries as part of Mahalakshmi scheme.
