The government of Andhra Pradesh has finally released the Input Subsidy Scheme pending amount for the previous season.
Input Subsidy for 11.59 lakh farmers
As part of this scheme, the government was supposed to release the funds into the accounts of the farmers who incurred crop loss in the previous season due to natural calamities like cyclone and draughts. The fund however supposed to be credited in the month of March 2024 has been delayed by the government for unknown reasons.
A total of 11,59,126 farmers all over the state are eligible to get the amount of 1294.58 crore under Input Subsidy 2024. These funds were officially released on March 6th by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. However the government did not credit the funds until the election was held.
The government planned to release the funds 2 days prior to elections however the election commission has stopped the process. Now finally on May 18th the government announced that it has released the funds into the accounts of eligible farmers.
Victims of Migzam cyclone shall also be receiving funds under this tranche.
Input Subsidy 2024 Payment Status
Farmers can check AP Input Subsidy status of funds in two ways.
Through online process : Farmers can check the status through Rythu Bharosa official link by providing aadhar. Also can ensure if ecrop is complete for them.
Through offline process: Farmers can visit nearby Rythu Bharosa Kendram and inquire the eligibility and status if the funds are not credited into the accounts within a week.
Usually it takes a week time for the funds to be credited into the accounts of farmers.
