The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued guidelines for the pension distribution in the state post EC decided to keep volunteers away from the distribution. These guidelines shall be applicable until the election code gets over.
Pension Guidelines issued by Government
As Volunteers have been kept away from pension distribution activities, Village Ward Secretariat employees have been involved for pension distribution.
- Pension distribution shall take place at Secretariats between 9 am till 7 pm effective from 3rd April till 6th April. [Extended till 8th April]
- For the Beneficiaries with disabilities and for those who are severely ill door to door pension distribution shall be conducted.
- While collecting the pension beneficiaries can carry their aadhar or any other valid ID proof.
- In tribal areas where the distance between the secretariat and habitat is big , officials will make arrangements to distribute pensions from nearby government offices.
- On 3rd April pension distribution will begin from the second half of the day.
- No publicity activities or capturing of photos or videos is permitted during this activity.
