The government of Andhra Pradesh has renamed various welfare schemes intended for the students and school children in the state.
The Cabinet Minister Nara Lokesh issued a statement pertaining to the same. He alleged that the previous government had prefixed Jagan’s name to the welfare schemes. Now the current government revised the names by prefixing the names of freedom fighters to few of them and for few schemes it has renamed to a more meaningful name.
Revised Welfare Scheme Names in Andhra Pradesh
Below are the revised new names against the old schemes.
- Jagananna Amma Vodi – Talliki Vandanam
- Jagananna Vidya Kanuka – Sarvepalli RadhaKrishnan Vidyarthi Mitra
- Jagananna Goru mudda – Dokka Seethamna Madyahna Badi Bhojanam
- Mana Badi Nadu Nedu – Mana Badi – Mana Bhavishyatthu
- Sveccha – Balika Raksha
- Jagananna Animutyalu – Abdul Kalam Pratibha Puraskaram
