Congress Party which had announced 6 guarantee schemes as part of its manifesto for Telangana state, has ensured the same shall be implemented within 100 days.
Congress has already enabled the public register for these guarantee schemes through an online portal called abhaya hastham. People of Telangana can now register for the Congress Guarantee Card through this portal.

Congress Guarantee Schemes Eligibility
The eligibility for most of the schemes under 6 Guarantees is based on BPL or White Ration Card.
MahaLakshmi Scheme Eligibility
- For ₹2500, ₹500 Cylinder – White Ration Card of Telangana, aadhar card.
- For Free Bus Travel – Aadhar card or any other local residence proof is enough.
Cheyutha Scheme Eligibility – White Ration Card or BPL Card issued either by state or center but only for Telangana residents. Aadhar card.
Rythu Bharosa Eligibility: Pattadar Passbook in Telangana, ration card, aadhar
Indiramma Indlu Eligibility : White Ration Card or BPL card with no pakka house.
Vidya Vikasam Eligibility – Local study certificate and non-management admission. Telangana local proof.
Gruha Jyothi Scheme Eligibility – White or BPL Ration Card from Telangana, aadhar card.
Congress Guarantee Schemes Application Process Telangana
People of Telangana who are eligible for any of the 6 guarantee schemes can apply offline through Grama Sabhas as below.
Application Window: 28th December to 06th January 2024
Eligibility Criteria for 6 guarantee: Those who are having White Ration Card or Also called BPL or Rice card are eligible for all 6 schemes
1. Officers will first distribute application forms for 6 guarantee schemes to the eligible beneficiaries by 28th December.
2. Grama Sabhas will be conducted in every village and municipal wards
3. People have to submit the application forms filled along with relevant documents at Grama Sabhas.
4. Once Forms are collected, Officials will give receipts to the public.
5. Post the scrutiny of the applications, the government will identify the eligible beneficiaries and sanction the schemes.

As we all know the Congress party had already announced six guarantee schemes in the state of Telangana if it comes to power on December 3.

Congress Guarantee Schemes in brief
Mahalakshmi:
– Monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,500 for women.
– Gas cylinders at a subsidised cost of Rs 500.
– Free travel for women on TSRC buses [ From December 9th, click here to know more]
Rhythu Bharosa:
– Farmers including tenant farmers will receive Rs 15,000 annually per acre.
– Agricultural laborers will also receive Rs 12,000 per year.
– Additional bonus of Rs 500 for cultivation of paddy crop.
Gruha Jyothi:
– Under this scheme , eligible households will receive 200 units of free electricity.
Indiramma Indlu:
– House site shall be provided for free of cost and Rs 5 lakh shall also be given for the construction of homes for poor without pakka houses.
– Additionally, 250 sq yards plot shall be given for all Telangana movement fighters.
Yuva Vikasam:
– Students will receive Vidya Bharosa Cards worth Rs 5 lakh to meet the requirements of graduates.
– Telangana International Schools will be established in every mandal.
Cheyutha:
– Existing Monthly pension shall be enhanced to Rs 4,000 for elderly, PWD, single woman, widow woman and all other weaker sections being covered.
– Rs 10 lakh insurance coverage to be provided under the Rajiv Arogyasri scheme.
