Telangana State Public Service Commission TSPSC Group 1 preliminary examination has been cancelled for the second consecutive term by the high court of Telangana. TSPSC has conducted Group-1 prelims examination on June-11 this year for filling up total 503 Group 1 posts, more than 2.32 lakh candidates appeared for this examination held across the state.

Some of the candidates had approached the Telangana High Court against the non-establishment of the biometric system and issuance of OMR sheets without hall ticket, The Division bench of the High Court on Saturday pronounced the judgment of cancellation of the prelims exam based on the petitions filed by aspirants and ordered to re-conduct the examination..
TSPSC Group 1 Prelims New Date
With the latest verdict given by Telangana High court to cancel the examination, it remains non conclusive on the new date of preliminary exam. It is understood from various reports that TSPSC shall appeal to division bench to reverse the decision taken by the high court. But chances are very low for the reversal of the decision. If exam stands cancelled then conducting exam again may not be feasible this year due to upcoming election code. Newly formed government and board may jointly re conduct the examination in 2024.
