Eligibility Criteria for AP EDCET 2022
- Educational Qualifications:
(a) Candidates should have passed/appearing for final year examinations of B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./ B.C.A./B.B.M. at the time of submitting the Application for AP Ed.CET-2022. Candidates are required to produce marks memo and pass certificate at the time of admission.(b) Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks either in the Bachelors Degree i.e., B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.M and or in the Post Graduate Degree in relevant subject or 5 years integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or any other qualification equivalent thereto. However the candidates belonging to all other reserved categories S.C, S.T., B.C.(A/B/C/D/E), and physically handicapped should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.Note: The candidates who passed B.E/B.Tech (minimum of 55%), with Mathematics, Physics are eligible for admission into the Course. - Age Limit: The candidates should have completed the age of 19 years on the 1st of July in the year in which notification is issued. There shall be no maximum age limit

People who complete the bachelor’s degree or an equivalent in the relevant field are eligible to apply for this APEDCET Notification. Students can pay Rs.600/- for General/OBC Category and Rs.400/- for SC/ST. Instructions to Fill AP EdCET 2022 Online Application Form:
- Candidates, who’ve fulfilled above stated AP Edcet B.Ed Eligibility Criteria, may follow below stated guidelines to submit AP Edcet B.Ed Application Form before the end date.
- Students will have to open official website of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education that is apedcet.nic.in.
- On homepage, you may hit on “AP EdCET 2022” link which is visible at upper side of page.
- Now, hit on “Information Brochure / Notification” link from menu bar to read entire details.
- After reading entire details, you may hit on “Online Application” link
- Those who have complete AP EdCET regiatertion process they can directly apply
- New users have to get registered first to get user ID or password.
- Now login using provisional user ID or password and fill AP Edcet 2022 Application Form with all required information.
- Thereafter upload the digital images of their documents (if required)/ passport size photographs as signature and submit it with-in given time period.
- At last, get printout of application form of AP EdCET and keep it safe for future need.
Exam Pattern
- AP EDCET 2022 Exam Pattern comprises a total of 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions.
- The duration of the AP EDCET 2022 entrance test is 2 hours. Every correct response will be awarded one mark.
- The paper will include questions from the subjects of General English, Teaching Aptitude, General Knowledge and Methodology.
- The question paper will be in English and Telugu except for English methodology. However, candidates have the option to write the test in Urdu medium as well and such candidates need to opt for Kurnool as Test Centre.

Candidates have to choose one of the following subjects for the third part of the AP EDCET exam.

- Physics – 50 questions for 50 marks
- Chemistry – 50 questions for 50 marks
3) Biological Sciences
- Botany – 50 questions for 50 marks
- Zoology – 50 questions for 50 marks
4) Social Studies – 100 questions for 100 marks
- Geography – 35 questions for 35 marks
- History – 30 questions for 30 marks
- Civics – 15 questions for 15 marks
- Economics – 20 questions for 20 marks
5) English
Note: Part-A and Part-B are common for all the candidates irrespective of the Methodology chosen in Part-C
Exam Centers
- Candidates are required to choose AP EDCET 2022 exam city while filling the application form.
- The final allocation of exam centers is reserved with the APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education), which will be released on the admit card.

Syllabus
