Educational Qualification for CBIC Recruitment 2023
Tax Assistant – The candidates should have completed Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent; and possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work.
Stenographer (Grade-II) – The candidates should have completed 12th Class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University
Havaldar & Canteen Attendant – The candidates should have completed Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Board.

Selection Process for CBIC Recruitment 2023
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for written test. The written examination will be in English and will consist of questions in English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. Written test is purely qualifying in nature. The candidates applying for Tax Assistants posts will be required to take a data entry test for 15 minutes and skill test for the Stenographers. Based on the aggregate marks obtained in the field trials and merit certificates, the candidates will be ranked for selection.
