Educational Qualification
Candidates must satisfy the educational qualification requirements according to the trade group they are applying for.
Group A Eligibility
Candidates must have passed SSC/Class 10 with Mathematics and General Science subjects. ITI-qualified candidates are not eligible for Group A trades.
Group B Eligibility
Candidates must have passed ITI in the relevant trade from a Government-recognized Industrial Training Institute.
Group C Eligibility
Candidates should have passed Class 8 under the 10+2 system with Science and Mathematics. ITI-qualified candidates are not eligible under this category.
General, OBC, SEBC, and EWS candidates must secure at least 50% aggregate marks, while SC/ST candidates only need a pass class qualification.
Age Limit
The age limit will be calculated as on 1 October 2026.

MDL Apprentice Stipend 2026
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend according to the Apprentices Act, 1961. The stipend amount will be credited directly to the apprentice’s bank account through ECS.
Besides receiving a stipend, candidates will gain valuable practical experience in a Navratna Defence PSU. Upon successful completion of training, apprentices will receive an apprenticeship certificate recognized across India.

Selection Process
The selection process consists of multiple stages designed to assess candidates’ knowledge, eligibility, and fitness.
