AP Council of Higher Education has released the schedule of Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (AP PGCET 2024) which is conducted to provide admissions in Post Graduate Courses in Universities and their affiliated PG Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This state level entrance exam is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of APSCHE
17 universities more than 145 courses for AP PGCET 2024
AP PGCET 2024: You can get admissions in more than 145 PG courses in 17 universities and their affiliated PG colleges in the state.
- The examination will be in Computer Based (CBT) mode. Admissions will be made on the basis of merit obtained in the written test (except MPED).
- 85% of the seats available university wise are allotted to local students. PGCET is organized in three categories. Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences in Category-1; In category-2, the exam will be conducted for commerce and education and in category-3 for science subjects

Exam Pattern for AP PGCET 2024
- All the question papers will be in English medium except Language Specialization Papers.
- The exam will be conducted online based on computer.
- The question paper will be objective in nature. The exam will be held for 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes.
- No negative marks. Questions will be asked from the degree syllabus related to the subject applied by the candidate.
