The Telangana government has released the Rythu Bharosa scheme amount into the accounts of eligible farmers in the state.
It has already released the funds into the accounts of farmers holding agricultural land up to 5 acres. Now in the latest tranche it has also credited the Rythu Bharosa amount in the accounts of farmers holding agricultural land above 5 acres.
Under the Rythu Bharosa scheme the current government of Telangana ruled by Congress assures the credit of 15000 rupees per acre to the farmers. There have been allegations by the opposition that the Congress government would curtail the benefit to the farmers or landlords holding land more than 5 acres, however in the latest move the government released the funds to all the beneficiaries.
