A big boost for the new upcoming capital of Andhra Pradesh, the union government gave nod for various road projects in and around Amaravati, capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu met Union minister Nitin Gadkari in new delhi today. It was understood that Nitin Gadkari responded positively and agreed for the construction of the Amaravati outer ring road project. The total length of this ring road will be 189 km and the total projected cost including land acquisition will be around 25 thousand crore which will be borne by the central government.
Nitin Gadkari had also agreed for the construction of Vijayawada eastern bypass road and fly over between Nidamanur till NTR health University.
Apart from these central government agreed for the expansion of Hyderabad – Vijayawada road into 6 line green field expressway. It also agreed for the construction of the proposed anantapur medarametla expressway which connects the rayalaseema region with Amaravati.
With these projects , Upcoming capital city Amaravati and it’s adjacent districts will get an immense boost. People will be relieved from the traffic and the outer ring road on the other hand will cater for the future needs of traffic around the capital city.
