Special enrolment camps under the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Scheme which were originally scheduled to be held on November 18th are now postponed to 2nd December in the state of Tamil Nadu.
According to the government announcement these camps shall be help in 100 Assembly Constituencies across the state.
As per the statement made by Health Minister Ma. Subramanian, those who do not have cards in the insurance scheme can participate and benefit from these camps.
Many people also hold an insurance card that was issued long ago in the year 2006. Such cards shall be verified to determine their validity and accordingly a new card shall be issued, Health Minister added.
The special camps that were supposed to be held from November 18th have been postponed to December 2 due to some administrative reasons, the health department has informed.
Earlier this month, Minister Subramanian had made announcement on Dr.Muthulakshmi Reddy Maternity Benefit Scheme, Which was modified to avoid delay in the disbursement of Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana benefits.
Dr.Muthulakshmi Reddy Maternity Benefit Scheme Provides financial assistance of 15000 rupees and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana , a centrally sponsored scheme on the other hand provides additional benefit of 3000 rupees. Together beneficiaries in the state are entitled to get 18000 rupees.
Beneficiaries under the above scheme are also provided with an option to enroll under this insurance camp scheduled on December 2nd.
