YSR Congress Party leader and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy unveiled the YSRCP manifesto 2024 at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli. YCP has released a two-page manifesto for the 2024 elections. In the manifesto the existing government mainly focused on increasing the funds for existing welfare schemes in the next 5 years. This new manifesto was formulated with nine important promises.
YSRCP Manifesto 2024 Highlights
- Continuation of welfare schemes such as Amma Vodi, Vidya Kanuka for students and YSR Cheyutha, Kapu Nestham, Asara etc for women.
- It has been announced that the amount of Rs.15 thousand currently being given under Amma Vodi scheme shall be increased to Rs.17 thousand.
- YSR Cheyutha scheme amount to be increased from Rs.75 thousand to Rs. Increase to One lakh 50 thousand and shall be paid in 8 installments.
- Announced that pension amount will be increased to Rs.3500 in two phases (Rs.250 increase in January 2028, another ₹250 increase in January 2029).
- YSR Kapu Nestham to be increased from Rs.60 thousand to Rs 1.20 lakh in four phases.
- In the manifesto it was also announced that the government would provide zero interest loans up to Rs.3 lakh.
- YSR EBC Nestam to be increased from Rs.45 thousand to Rs. 1.05 lakh in four phases.
- YSR Kalyana Masthu, Shaadi Tohfa to be continued
- Arogyasri to be further scaled.
- An Increase in the amount being given under Rythu Bharosa PM Kisan from existing Rs.13,500 to Rs.16 thousand (Continuation of Rythu Bharosa for farmers)
- Houses for all those who are eligible and have no houses.. Continuation of house tracks
- Interest concession announced for auto, taxi, lorry buyers
- Implementation of Rs.10 lakh accident insurance for auto, taxi and lorry drivers
- Vehicle friendly application for lorry drivers and tipper drivers also
- Vahana Mitra to be increased from Rs.50 thousand to Rs.1 lakh in the next five years
- Rs.24000 per year for handloom weavers, Rs 1.20 lakh in next five years
- Nadu-Nedu to be Continued, Distribution of Tabs, Class I IB Syllabus from 2025 onwards
- Skill Hub in each Constituency.. District Skill Development College.. Skill University in Tirupati
- YSR insurance coverage in case of accidental death of Giga sector employees working in delivery companies like Swiggy, Zomato
- Loans for children of government employees to study abroad
- Free Electricity for SC and ST colonies

So the government reiterates its stand on three capitals as part of its two page manifesto.
