The Union government after many years has earmarked major allotments to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Under the Budget 2024-25, below are the major allocations made to the debt driven state of Andhra Pradesh.
Budget 2024-25 Allocations to Andhra Pradesh
- ₹15000 Crores for the construction of Amaravati, New Capital of Andhra Pradesh
- Special Financial Package for Uttarndhra and Rayalaseema backward districts including Prakasam district.
- Fast tracking the completion of Polavaram Project and funding the same
- Boosting the corridors , Hyderabad – Bengaluru via AP and Vizag Chennai Corridors
- Boosting the connectivity and development of ports in the state of Andhra Pradesh
