Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has reviewed the current situation of the tribals in the state and the basic infrastructure facilities available in the tribal areas.
On Tuesday the Chief Minister conducted a review meeting along with the officials of the tribal welfare department.
The Chief Minister instructed for a few key tasks to be taken in the tribal areas. Below are the details.
Key Outcomes of the Review on Tribal Welfare
- The Chief Minister ordered to create basic infrastructure in the tribal areas of Andhra Pradesh.
- He ordered to facilitate feeder ambulance in the areas so that tribal people need not carry the patients manually in the doli.
- He also instructed the officials to restore welfare hostels for the pregnant women in these areas
- He ordered to eradicate drugs completely in such areas.
- He instructed the officials to explore various ways to promote araku coffee and tribal products.
The government emphasized bringing up more welfare schemes for the well being of the tribals in the state. Tribals are highly concentrated in North Andhra Pradesh in the districts of Parvathipuram manyam and alluri districts.
