Andhra Pradesh bags 2 of 12 Industrial Smart Cities

Andhra Pradesh seems to be getting big ticket projects and infrastructure boosts like never before under Modi 3.0 government.

The union minister Ashwini Vaishnaw revealed the 12 Smart Cities which will be developed as Industrial hubs.

12 new industrial Smart Cities various states, backed by an investment of Rs 28,602 crore. These smart cities will be part of a grand industrial corridor that reflects the Golden Quadrilateral, including a network of advanced urban centers designed on PM Gati Shakti principles.

Kopparthy and Orvakal to be developed from AP

Out of 12 Smart Industrial cities Andhra Pradesh gets 2 cities and Bihar gets one.

Kopparthy and Orvakal from Kurnool are chosen from AP under this prestigious project.

These industrial cities will attract 20860 crore investments together. Orvakal Industrial city will be developed in an area of 2621 acre and Kopparthy in an area of 2596 acre land.

These investments will be a big boon for RayalaSeema backward region in Andhra Pradesh. Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed happiness for allocating these industrial parks in Andhra Pradesh.
