Good News: AP govt hikes salary of Grama Ward Volunteers

Good News for Grama Ward Volunteers working in Andhra Pradesh. There has been long pending demand from the volunteers to hike their salaries. The government finally accepted their proposal and has agreed to increase their honorarium.

AP Govt hikes Volunteer salary by ₹750 Rupees

Currently grama ward volunteers across all the secretariats of the state are drawing 5000 per month as part of their Salary.

Volunteer services are being used by the GSWS staff for various activities which include distribution of pension, health cards, household mapping, survey , publicity on govt schemes , ration door delivery along with MDU Operators,etc

So far even though volunteers are performing these many activities they are only paid rupees 5000 per month. Considering their efforts and hard work the government of Andhra Pradesh has provided a hike of Rupees 750 per month in their salary.

This Hike will be provided for volunteers for participating in Ration door delivery and intimating the households about the date on which they can collect rice in their street from MDU vehicles.

Going further the revised salary for Volunteers would be : ₹5750 and another ₹200 is being given for a newspaper subscription.

    Good morning Salary should be 10000 sir, this 750 is not enough
