The government has announced good news for those who have cards such as Aadhaar, PAN, driving license, passport, and voter card. The new feature called “Aadhaar Auto Update” will soon be made available to Aadhaar holders.
What exactly is this Aadhaar Auto Update?
Once this feature is launched, if you update your address, date of birth, and other details on Aadhaar, they will automatically get updated in all other documents. You will not have to face any hassle of updating each document separately.
How does Aadhar auto update work?
Normally, Aadhaar, PAN, passport, etc., are made available to us through the digilocker of the government. The auto-update feature works on documents that are already available on Digilocker. By linking your Aadhaar with Digilocker, all your documents uploaded to the digilocker will get auto-updated with the new details of Aadhaar.

Currently, this feature is in pilot mode and available to various ministries. Post completing the work related to the passport auto updation, Center would release this feature to common public and with the latest update from center hope we all expect this feature to be rolled out asap.
