The government of Andhra Pradesh is conducting a new week-long program called “Idi Manchi Prabhutvam” across the state. Let us learn more details about this program.
Idi Manchi Prabhutvam Schedule and Objective
Idi Manchi Prabhutvam which translates this as a good government, is a week long initiative by the government officials to campaign on the achievements made by the current government of Andhra Pradesh in its very first 100 days since its formation.
Schedule of Idi Manchi Prabhutvam scheme: 20 September 2024 till 26 September 2024.
This program is being conducted at Village / Ward level, from 20.09.2024 till
26.09.2024 to highlight the achievements of Government in 100 days.
The Chief Planning Officer of the District is the Nodal Officer for conducting
the “ldi Manchi Prabhutvam” Programme at District level. The.Municipal Commissioners / MPDOs shall appoint Supervisory Officers to each Village / Ward duly ensuing participation of all Functionaries of Village /Ward Secretariats. The Department of GSWS has issued orders accordingly.
Duties of Village Ward Secretariat Staff:
This Programme is being implemented at Villages / Wards by conducting Gram Sabha / Ward Sabha (Praja Vedika) where the officials explain the achievements of the Government in its 100 days of governance.
The Village / Ward Secretariat Functionaries shall visit all Households and distribute Stickers & Pamphlets. They should explain the achievements of the Government during 100 days to all the Households assigned to them.
Idi Manchi Prabhutvam Achievements
The officials who conduct the program shall highlight the achievements and the schemes which they fulfilled in the first 100 days of the governance.
Some of such key achievements made by the current government in the first 100 days are :
- Increasing the pensions to 4000 rupees and for PWd to 6000 rupees.
- Distribution of pension on Day 1 without Volunteers.
- Repeal of Land Titling act.
- Signature on DSC Notification.
- Restarting the Anna Canteens to provide food at just 5 Rupees to the needy.
- Patch work and fill path holes on roads.
- Restoring the names of old schemes
- Taking immediate relief measures during the floods and heavy rains in coastal Andhra.
- Releasing the pending paddy amount into the accounts of the farmers.
