TS TET – 2024 Notification Out : Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) – 2024 notification has been released in Telangana. The TS TET exam will be conducted from May 20 to 3rd June 2024.
Application for TS TET 2024 will begin effective from 27th March till 20 th April 2024. The education department has clarified the same.
The notification was released by the education department immediately after the cabinet approved for TET Exam 2024.
Salient features of TS TET 2024
- The TS TET aims to revolutionize the education system in the state by recruiting highly qualified and competent teachers to ensure every child receives quality education
- It aims to ensure that highly qualified, skilled, and motivated individuals are recruited as teachers to provide quality education to students
- To bring in utmost transparency and accuracy in the conduct of examinations TS TET 2024 will be conducted through Computer Based Test in Paper-I and Paper-II
- The candidate who intends to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for Paper-I
- candidates intending to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to appear for paper-II
Minimum Qualification for TS TET Paper-I (Class I to V)
Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks. However in case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
Minimum Qualification for TS-TET Paper-II (Class VI to VIII)
B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with at least 50% marks. In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education(B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education)
