Telangana Anganwadi Jobs Notification 2024

The Minister of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, and Women & Child Welfare, Sitaakka, announced that a notification will be released soon for 11,000 Anganwadi jobs in Telangana.

She also mentioned that furniture and other essential items have been provided to Anganwadi centres in Telangana. The state has identified 11,000 vacancies in Anganwadi posts.

The Minister stated that all these posts will be filled simultaneously, and the notification regarding these jobs will be released very soon. There are 35,000 Anganwadi centres in the state, and 15,000 of them are being developed into nursery schools. Anganwadi workers will be trained in English teaching and other skills to support this initiative.

Eligibility Criteria for Anganwadi Jobs:

To be eligible for Anganwadi Teacher and Helper positions in Telangana, candidates must have at least passed Intermediate (12th grade). Previously, the minimum qualification for Anganwadi Teacher posts was 10th grade.

Age Limit for Anganwadi Jobs:

The age limit for these Anganwadi jobs is between 18 and 35 years. Additionally, services of employees above 65 years of age will not be utilized. Fifty percent of the vacancies will be filled by promoting existing Helpers.

Retirement Benefits for Anganwadi Teachers:

At the time of retirement, Anganwadi Teachers will receive ₹2 lakhs, and Helpers (Ayas) will receive ₹1 lakh. The Minister also mentioned that play schools will be conducted within the premises of primary schools, ensuring that children who complete nursery can seamlessly transition to primary education.
