IOCL Apprentice Vacancy 2025 – Disciplines
- Technician Apprentices: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics.
- Trade Apprentices: Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Data Entry Operator (Fresher & Skill Certificate Holders).
- Graduate Apprentices: BA, B.Sc., B.Com.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 24 years as on 30.09.2025. (Relaxation – SC/ST: 5 years, OBC-NCL: 3 years, PwBD: 10–15 years)
- Educational Qualification:
– Trade Apprentice (ITI): 10th + ITI (Fitter/Electrician/Electronics/Instrument/Machinist).
– Technician Apprentice: Diploma in a relevant Engineering discipline.
– Graduate Apprentice: Graduate in any discipline (BA/B.Sc./B.Com).
– DEO (Fresher & Skill Certificate): 12th Pass with/without skill certificate. - Candidates with higher professional qualifications (BE/B.Tech, MBA, MCA, etc.) are not eligible.
Selection Process
The selection will be purely on the basis of Merit (percentage of marks in qualifying exams). In case of a tie, older candidates will be preferred. Final shortlisted candidates will undergo Document Verification and Medical Fitness Test before engagement.
Stipend
The stipend will be paid as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprenticeship Rules 1992/2019:
- Graduate Apprentice – ₹9,000/- (₹4,500 by BOAT + balance by IOCL)
- Technician Apprentice – ₹8,000/- (₹4,000 by BOAT + balance by IOCL)
- Trade Apprentice – Full stipend paid by IOCL
