Indian Coast Guard Group C Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for the Enrolled Follower (Sweeper/Safaiwala) – Group C includes the following stages:

  1. Written Exam – 50 Marks
    • Subjects: General Knowledge & General English (10th Level)
    • Duration: 1 hour
    • Qualifying Marks:
      • UR – 50%
      • SC/ST – 45%
  2. Professional Skill Test (PST) – Qualifying Only
    • Activities include: Sweeping, Mopping, Cleaning of Drains, Cleaning of Toilets, Septic Tank Maintenance
  3. Physical Fitness Test (PFT) – Qualifying Only
    • 1.6 km Run in 7 minutes
    • 20 Squats (Uthak Baithak)
    • 10 Push-ups
  4. Medical Examination
    • Height: Minimum 157 cm
    • Chest: Well proportioned, minimum 5 cm expansion
    • Weight: Proportionate to height & age
    • Vision: 6/60 (Without Glasses), 6/9 (With Glasses)
