Educational Qualification for HSL Recruitment 2023

1. Manager (Legal) (E3) – Qualification: Graduate with 3 Years Bachelor Degree in law OR Five Year integrated degree in law from a recognized university / deemed university approved by AICTE with minimum 60 % marks in qualifying examination. Desirable: Masters in Law Experience: (a) The candidate should have minimum of 09 years of post-qualification experience in legal matters out of which the candidate should have minimum 04 years of working experience in Govt Organisation/PSUs/ Reputed Private Organisation/Law Firm. (b) Candidate having experience in dealing with arbitration cases, labour law related cases would be given priority
2. Manager (Commercial) (E3) – Qualification Graduate in full time Engineering (Any Discipline) from a recognized university / deemed university approved by AICTE with minimum 60 % marks (55% for SC Candidates) in qualifying examination. Desirable: MBA preferably in Materials Management / Two years Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management. Degree /diploma / Cert, Course in Inventory Management / Integrated Logistics Management System. Experience: (i) The candidate should have at least 09 years of postqualification experience in Govt. organisations/ PSU /Private Organisation of repute on one or more of the following: a) Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control, Integrated Logistics Management System. b) Preparation of Commercial terms / conditions of tender and commercial evaluation of tender. c) Logistics Management, cost estimation, Procurement of Ship Board Key Equipment from Indian and foreign OEM’s. d) Customs Clearance procedures for Home Consumption of imported equipment. e) Procurement strategy, scheduling of Procurement w.r.t Project schedule to receive Material Just in Time.
3. Manager (Technical) (E3) – Qualification: Full time Engineering Graduate with not less than 60% marks (55% for SC Candidates) in Mechanical/ Electronics/Electrical disciplines from any recognised University or deemed university/Institute recognised by AICTE. (Refer to General Instructions for Group of Disciplines) Desirable: Post-graduation in relevant discipline/ MBA Experience: (i) The Candidate should have minimum 09 years of post-essential qualification experience in one/more of the following: – (a) Design/ Construction/ Repairs/ Maintenance of Ships/ Submarines in Govt. Organisation/ PSUs/ Private shipyards of Repute. (b) Overseeing/Quality Assurance of Ships/Submarines during construction/ Refit/ Repairs at Govt. Organization’s/ PSU Shipyards/ Private Shipyards of Repute.
4. Asst. Manager (Finance) (E1) – Qualification: A Graduate who has passed in the final examination of ICAI/ICWA Experience (i) Minimum 02 years post qualification experience one/more of the following in Govt Organisation/PSU/Private Organisation of Repute. (a) Financial & Cost Accounting (b) Financial Management/ Funds Management (c) Budgeting, Treasury Management and Financial Statements. (d) Financial/Cost Auditing
5. Dy. Project Officer (Plant Maintenance) – Qualification: Full-time Engineering degree from a recognized University in Mechanical Engineering with not less 55% marks Qualifying exam. Experience: Essential: a) Minimum 02 years’ post qualification experience in Operation/ Maintenance/ Repairs of Plant/Manufacturing unit/Shipyard and Experienced in activities of yard utilities operations, monitoring and repairs and maintenance of Mobile equipment, cranes, Plants & Machines at the yard. b) Candidate should be conversant with preparation of technical specifications, scope of work, cost estimate required for outsourcing of maintenance related work.
6. Dy. Project Officer (IT & ERP) – Qualification: Full-time Engineering graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology OR Masters in Computer application with not less than 60% marks in qualifying examination from a recognized university / AICTE approved deemed university/ institution Experience: Essential: Candidate should have minimum 02 years’ postqualification experience in one/more of the following: (a) Maintenance and management of IT Servers including Cyber Security (b) Upkeep & Maintenance of LAN Network (Intranet & Internet) and other IT Infrastructure (c) Design, updation and modification to company web-sites and Operating System Administration. (d) Functional & Technical knowledge and working experience in SAP portal and ABAP developer and knowledge of SAP Fiori
7. Dy. Project Officer (Civil) – Qualification: Full-time Engineering graduate in Civil Engg discipline with not less than 60% marks (55% for ST candidates) from a recognized university or deemed university/institution registered with AICTE Desirable: Masters in relevant field Experience: Essential: Minimum 02 years of post-qualification experience in one/more of the following: – (a) Design & Material Estimate for RCC Structure/ Marine RCC structure (b) Execution/Supervision of construction of Marine Structure, Buildings, Civil structures, Bridges and Culverts etc. (c) Assessment of structural integrity/ residual life of old RCC/Load Bearing structure and their refurbishment using modern repairs/refurbish techniques (d) Preparation of Scope of Work, Tender Document, Technical Evaluation of Tenders, Project Planning & contract management for construction and refurbishment of marine structure, residential and factory buildings.  Desired skills: Working knowledge of AutoCAD & MS Project
8. Dy. Project Officer (Technical) – Qualification: Full time Graduate /Diploma with not less than 55% marks in Mechanical/Electricals/Comm unication/Controls/Shipwright & Equivalent from recognised university/ deemed university/Institute recognised by AICTE Ex-Naval Sailors of ERA3 Equivalent & above of cadre ERA/EAP/EAR/SWA/MECH with medical category not lower than S2A2 would be eligible for the post. Essential: (a) Experience: Minimum 02 Years post qualification experience for graduate engineers and minimum of 5 years work experience for Diploma Engineers in one of the following: – (i) Operation/ Repairs/ Refits/ Maintenance of Naval Ships /Submarine (ii) Installation & Integrations of equipment/systems and overseeing/quality assurance during construction of Naval Ships/ Submarines (iii) Setting to Work, Functional Trials, Harbour Trials of engineering/electrical equipment/systems for Naval Ships/Submarine. Desirable: Retired ex-servicemen of Indian Navy (ERA3/equivalent & above) of ERA/EAP/EAR/SWA/MECH cadre with minimum 05 yrs. post qualification experience in operations/maintenance of Ships & Submarine
9. Dy. Project Officer (HR/Training/Admin) – Qualification: 1) Full time Graduate in any discipline with not less than 60% marks (55% for ST candidates) from any recognised University or Institute recognised by AICTE. AND 2) Full time Post graduate degree / diploma in Management with specialization in HR/ Personnel Management from any recognised University or Institute registered with AICTE with not less than 60% marks (55% for ST candidates) Essential: (a) Experience: Should have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in various aspects of HR / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ Training & Development/ Administration & Establishment in Government Organisation/Public Sector Undertakings or in large and reputed Private Companies. Desirable Skills: Working Knowledge in ERP like SAP and Oracle etc. Working knowledge of Telugu
10. Dy. Project Officer (Security & Fire Service) – Qualification: (a) Full-time Graduate/ diploma in any discipline from a recognized University with an aggregate of not less than 50% of marks in the qualifying examination. (b) Ex-servicemen of Chief Petty Officer/equivalent & above cadre of Armed forces (provost/ MP branch) minimum S2A2 category would also be eligible for the post Desirable: Diploma or Course in ‘Security’. Essential: (a) Experience: (a) Should have at least 12 years of postqualification experience in Security in a large organisation / Armed Forces
11. Dy. Project Officer (Safety) – Qualification: Full-time degree in any branch of Engineering and Diploma in Industrial Safety with not less than 60% marks from a recognized university / AICTE approved institution Essential: Candidates should have minimum 02 years fulltime post qualification experience on training, education, consultancy, or research in the field of accident prevention in industry or in any institution. Should have worked as Safety Officer in Govt/Public Sector Undertakings or in large and reputed Private company
12. Dy. Project Officer (Design) – Qualification: Full time Degree/ Diploma with not less than 60% marks (55% for SC/ST Candidates) in qualifying examination in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Naval Architecture disciplines from any recognised University/deemed university or Institute registered with AICTE. Essential Experience: The candidate should have minimum 02 years (for engineering graduate) / 05 years (for Diploma Engineers) post-qualification experience in one or more of the following: – a) Basic and functional design of ships/ ship systems in Govt/PSUs/reputed private organisation b) 2D drafting and 3D modelling using AutoCAD/ Aveva Marine/ NUPAS CADMATIC/ Ship Constructor or equivalent ship design software c) Preparation of detailed workshop drawings, using AutoCAD, for construction and outfitting of Naval ships in in Govt/PSUs/reputed private organization
13. Medical Officer – Qualification: MBBS Degree and registered with Indian Medical Council. Desirable: PG Degree/Diploma in any medical discipline Essential Experience: Candidates should have minimum 02 years post qualification experience in Medical Department of CPSEs with large industrial townships / Govt. Hospitals in District Head Quarters/ Large Industrial Hospitals in Private Sector. /Govt. Sector.
14. Dy. Project Officer (Legal) – Qualification: Graduate with LLB or Degree in Law (5 years integrated course) with not less than 50% marks from a recognized university / AICTE approved institution Essential Experience: The candidate should have at least 05 years of post-qualification experience in one or more of the following: (a) Registration in Bar Council with experience as lawyer in Civil Courts / High Courts/tribunals of Andhra Pradesh (b) In-house corporate lawyer in Govt/PSU or reputed private organisation (c) Law Associate in reputed law firms Desirable: Working knowledge of Telugu
15. Sr. Advisor (Corporate & Business Development) – Qualification:  (i) B. Tech (ii) MBA or equivalent Essential (i) Should have at least 30 years of experience (after graduation) in relevant area out of which at least 04 years in a senior management (Jt Secretary or Equivalent) level dealing with Shipbuilding projects in the maritime agencies or Govt of India. (ii) Experience in project management, preferably shipbuilding/ RFP/ Contract Management (iii) Residing at Visakhapatnam/ Delhi NCR Desirable Experience in implementing, business strategies, corporate evaluation & development in an industrial establishment, ability to provide insights on new technology, new products and improvements in corporate, business and production trends
16. Sr. Consultant (IT&ERP) – Qualification: BE/B.Tech. in any discipline/ M Sc (IT/CS)/ MCA with not less than 60% marks from a recognized university / AICTE approved institution preferably from Tier I institution / IIT/NIT. SAP Certification in S4 HANAA / BASIS/ ABAP and any relevant area Desirable: MBA from reputed institution preferably IIM / equivalent with 60% marks / equivalent GPA. Essential Experience: i) Candidate should have minimum 15 years post-qualification experience in SAP ERP various flavour like ECC and HANA and S/4 HANA ii) Experience in similar role for at least 5 years. iii) Must have completed at least five end-to-end SAP implementations at least two end-to-end implementations in S/4 HANA/ ECC green field implementation. iv) Integration knowledge with frequently used modules like FI-CO, MM, SD, PP and QM v) Conducts user requirements gathering, blueprinting and documentation designs. Follow best practices and SAP functionality in system. vi) Conduct Unit tests, Integration tests and system Integration. vii) Understanding key business requirements, preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documents and signing off with users to have business blueprint document. viii) Experience in coordinating with development team ix) Experience in writing functional requirements / design document x) Remaining period consultancy through email / VC as and when required xi) Oversee the creation of consolidated cross module reporting. Facilitate visualisation requirements like dash boards, score cards etc.
17. Sr. Consultant (Contract Management) – Qualification: Degree in Engineering in the discipline of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Shipbuilding / Naval Architecture with min First class. MBA is desirable Essential Experience:  (i) Min 20 years’ Experience in Shipbuilding / Ship design activities. (ii) Experience in project management / contract Management/ similar role for at least 5 years in shipbuilding (iii) Experience in delivering warship to Indian Navy/ICG/SCI/DCI/ONGC.
