No.: IOCL/CO-HR/RECTT/2025/01). Applications are invited from dynamic and talented Graduate Engineers for the post of Engineers/Officers (Grade A) through a Computer Based Test (CBT), Group Discussion/Task, and Personal Interview. Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Chemical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering from AICTE/UGC recognized institutions with required percentage.
  • Age Limit: Max 26 years (General/EWS); OBC (NCL) – 29 years; SC/ST – 31 years; PwBD – additional 10 years relaxation.
  • Medical Fitness: Candidates must qualify as per IOCL Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME) guidelines.

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in three stages:

  • Computer Based Test (CBT): 100 Questions (150 Minutes) – 50 Domain Knowledge + 50 Aptitude (Quantitative, Reasoning, English). Negative marking: -0.25 per wrong answer.
  • Group Discussion (GD) & Group Task (GT) – Weightage 5%
  • Personal Interview (PI) – Weightage 10%

Final merit will be prepared based on the composite score (CBT 85% + GD/GT 5% + PI 10%).

Job Role & Posting

Selected candidates will be placed in IOCL’s Refineries, Marketing, Pipelines, and Business Development Divisions. Posting can be anywhere in India or overseas, depending on organizational requirements.

Pay Scale & Benefits

IOCL offers attractive remuneration with an initial basic pay of ₹50,000. Including DA, HRA, Medical, LTC, Superannuation Benefits, and PRP, the annual CTC is approx. ₹17.7 LPA. Additional perks include housing, insurance, leave encashment, and conveyance benefits.
