🔧 Training Slots (Divisions/Workshops)
Apprentice training slots are distributed across the following units:
- Howrah Division – 659
- Liluah Workshop – 612
- Sealdah Division – 440
- Kanchrapara Workshop – 187
- Malda Division – 138
- Asansol Division – 412
- Jamalpur Workshop – 667
Trades include: Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, AC & Refrigeration Mechanic, and others.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: 15 to 24 years as on the closing date of application. Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 10 years for PwBD candidates.
Educational Qualification: 10th pass with minimum 50% marks + National Trade Certificate (ITI) in relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
Medical Fitness: Candidates must be physically fit as per the Apprenticeship Rules. A certificate from a Government doctor (Gazetted) is required at the time of document verification.
📋 Selection Process
Selection will be purely merit-based. A merit list will be prepared on the average of marks in the 10th and ITI examinations. No written test or interview will be conducted.
Formula: (10th % + ITI %) ÷ 2
💵 Application Fee
₹100/- (non-refundable) for General/OBC/EWS candidates.
No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates.
