TGRJC CET 2025: The Telangana Residential Educational Institutions Society has released the TGRJC CET 2025 or TGRJC Entrance Test 2025 notification for inter-first-year admissions in General TS Residential Junior Colleges (TGRJCs) at tgrjc.cgg.gov.in.
Students who want to join these TGRJCs can check details and apply online for TGRJC CET, which means Telangana Residential RJC Entrance Test 2025, and it is a TGRJC Common Entrance Test 2025.
TGRJC Admission 2025
TGRJC Admission 2025 notification and TGRJC CET Exam will be conducted in May 2025. Last year, seat allocation was made in various Intermediate first-year courses based on SSC CGPA.
Telangana Residential Educational Institutions Society will issue the TGRJC Common Entrance Test 2025 Notification every March.
This TS Residential Junior College Entrance Exam will be conducted for Candidates seeking admission into Inter 1st year in its TS Residential Junior Colleges and College of Excellence ( Center for Competitions) for the academic year 2025-2026.
TGRJC CET 2025 Notification
The TGRJC CET 2025 Notification has been released, and aspiring students can now start preparing for the upcoming entrance exam.
TGRJC CET is conducted by the Telangana State Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSREIS) to offer admission to intermediate courses in various residential junior colleges across the state.
TREIS invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission into Intermediate courses in its TSRS Junior Colleges.

TGRJC CET Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be a resident of India and must have studied in Telangana State only.
- Must have passed the qualifying examination on the first attempt in March/April only.
- Candidates who have passed in earlier years are not eligible and need not apply for this entrance test.
- OC Candidate must secure a minimum GPA of 6 and BC, SC, ST and minority candidates must secure a minimum GPA of 5 in S.S.C or equivalent qualifying examination and a GPA of 4 in English for all the candidates.
Reservations: SC:15%, ST:06%, BC-A: 7 % BC-B:10%, BC-C:1%, BC-D:7, BC-E: 4% and Special category Reservation: PHC:3% Sports:3% CAP( Children of Armed Personnel):3%
Criteria for allotment of seats under special reservation category: Seats under a special category in MPC, BPC, MEC/CEC will be given based on the common merit list of Children of Armed Personnel, PHC, and Sports categories against OC.
- Under the PHC category, seats will be allotted based on the merit of the entrance test among the PHC candidates. The minimum disability is 40%.
- Under the sports category, seats will be allotted based on merit in the entrance test for the sports category.
- Under the CAP( Children of Armed Personnel) category, the candidate’s parent must be an ex-service member or presently in defence service. The seats will be allotted based on the merit in the entrance test. NCC candidates are not eligible under the CAP category.

TGRJC CET Exam Pattern
The test is of objective type with 2½ hrs duration for 150 marks (50 marks for each subject). The candidates have to mark their answers in the OMR sheets.
Model Question papers are Available on the Websites. The question papers for TGRJC CET will be based on the 10th standard in the Telangana State syllabus for subjects, and English will be General English.
TGRJC CET Selection Process
The selection process involves an Entrance Test. Students will be selected based on their merit in the Common Entrance examination, Reservation, Special category, and Local area.
While selecting the students for MEC and CEC Group, combined rank will be given to the candidates who opted for MEC and CEC. If a candidate opts for MEC but is not selected for MEC, his/her candidature shall also be considered for CEC and Vice versa.

The Telangana General Gurukul Society will upload the TGRJC entrance test notification and prospectus PDF on its web portal, https://tgrjc.cgg.gov.in/.
Interested students can check the details and download the TGRJC CET notification from the portal. To download the notification, students can follow the simple steps given.
- Students must visit the official TS General Gurukul Society website, https://tgrjc.cgg.gov.in/, on their device browser.
- Once you reach the official website, click on the TGRJC CET link on the home page. Then, the TGRJC admission portal will open on your device.
- When you reach the TGRJC admission portal, click the TGRJC Entrance Test prospectus link.
- After clicking on that link, the TGRJC Admission Prospectus will open on your device. Candidates can read the instructions before filling out the application.
- After checking all the details, download the TREIS RJC Admission Prospectus. Take a print and preserve it for future reference.
Selection list for admission: The Hall ticket Numbers of the shortlisted candidates for counselling will be made available on the websites: http://tgrjc.cgg.gov.in.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on merit in the Entrance Test. Candidates will be called for counselling for allotment of seats for admission in the ratio of 1:5.
The jurisdiction for any appeal to be settled is in Hyderabad city courts only. The reference period for such appeal is before the completion of admissions of the academic year 2025-2025 or before the last date of admission into first-year intermediate as announced by BIE, Hyderabad.

The Government of Telangana started the TS Residential Junior Colleges in a fully residential and ‘Gurukul’ pattern to cater to the needs of the talented students in the state at + 2 levels.
In the Residential Institutions run by TS Residential Educational Institutions Society (Regd.), Hyderabad, the emphasis is mainly on providing quality education suited to the present-day educational scenario by creating a conducive educational atmosphere and striving for the all-round development of the students.
These institutions, with the aid of the Government of Telangana, provide free boarding and hostel facilities and free education.
