CSIR UGC NET December 2024 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 examination. This exam determines eligibility for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges. The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across various centres in India. The CSIR UGC NET Notification is released on 9 December 2024 and online applications are invited from 9 to 30 December 2024.

Master’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender).
Final-year Master’s degree students can also apply but must complete the degree with the required percentage within two years.
Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) : Maximum 30 years as of February 2025 (Relaxations for reserved categories as per government norms).Assistant Professor/Ph.D. Admission : No upper age limit.
