Telangana to issue Digital Health Cards

The Government of Telangana which is currently providing Health insurance up to 10 lakh rupees to the eligible beneficiaries in the state has made another announcement related to it.

Currently under the Rajeev Aarogyasri scheme, the Telangana government is providing 10 lakh rupees worth insurance to the beneficiaries. The current government has recently increased the limit of aarogyasri Health insurance from 5 lakhs to 10 lakh rupees.

In this regard Telangana state chief Minister Revanth Reddy who is currently on the visit to Davos to attract the investments to the state, has stated that soon the Government of Telangana would issue digital health cards to all 4 crore residents of Telangana. He made this announcement as part of his speech on the topic ‘ Health Care digitalisation’ and added that Hyderabad is leading in the pharma sector by producing 33% of the world’s vaccines and medicines.

The Telangana Government has attracted around 37,870 crore rupees worth Investments to the state as part of its Davos Visit.
