Tamilaga Vetri Kalagam: Vijay Enters Tamil Politics

Another new political party emerged in Tamil Nadu. Popular actor, Dalapati Vijay (Vijay) entered into politics. The new party has been named as ‘Tamilaga Vetri Kalagam’. Vijay officially announced this on social media.

“Currently there is ongoing corruption in Tamil Nadu. We entered politics to fight against it. However, our party will not contest in the next general election. We dont even support other parties. We will contest in the state assembly elections in 2026,” said Vijay. He said that the party flag and agenda will be announced soon.

Vijay involved in service programs

Vijay is another actor who has great stardom in Tamilnadu next to Rajinikanth. Fans call him ‘Dalapati’. Service programs are being actively carried out for some time. Incentives are given to meritorious students of Class X, Plus One and Plus Two. After Rajinikanth made it clear that he will not enter politics.. Vijay accelerated his political entry. As a part of that, Vijay has already met several times with the organizers of Makkal Iyakkam (Fan Association) and held long discussions on the political party. Recently there were speculations that a party would be formed under the name of ‘Tamilaga Munnetra Kalagam’. The name ‘Tamilaga Vetri Kalagam’ was finalized after minor changes were made to it.
