NTR Pension Bharosa Guidelines and Enhanced Pension amount details

The government of AP has released detailed guidelines for the distribution of increased pension amount effective from July 2024.

The government has increased the pension amount from 3000 to 4000 for the below ten categories. Whereas the disabled pension was doubled from 3000 to 6000.

OAP, Widow, Weavers, Toddy Toppers, Fishermen, Single Women, Traditional Cobblers, Transgender, ART(PLHIV), Dappu Artists and pensions to Artists are among those who would get 4000 pension hereon.

Since the revised pension is applicable to be paid effective from April 2024, the government has included the arrears in the july month pension and a lump sum amount of Rupees 7000 shall be paid on July 1st. Thereon every month 4000 shall be paid.

Below are the detailed pension distribution guidelines – July 2024

– All village ward secretariat staff has to distribute the pension on 1st day I.e., on July 1St.

– If any pension is left out, it should be mandatorily paid on 2nd July. No further extension shall be granted.

– An employee can only distribute the pension not more than 50 people in his/her login.

– Any village or ward where the secretariat staff is unavailable or on deputation, contract workers , asha workers, and Anganwadi workers can be engaged in this activity.

– On the last day of the month, the panchayat secretary and welfare and education assistant shall withdraw the funds from the bank and segregate the same to the staff for the distribution.

• Enhancement of existing pension amount from Rs. 3,000/-month to Rs.4,000/- month for OAP, Widow, Weavers, Toddy Toppers, Fishermen, Single Women, Traditional Cobblers, Transgender, ART(PLHIV), Dappu Artists and pensions to Artists.
• Enhancement of disabled persons pension from Rs. 3,000/- to Rs.6,000/- to all persons with disability and multi deformity Leprosy persons.
• Enhancement of pension to fully disabled persons from Rs. 5,000/- to Rs.15,000/-.
• Enhancement of pension amount from Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 10,000/- for persons with Chronic diseases viz., Bilateral Elephantiasis-Grade 4, Kidney, liver and heart transplant, CKDU not on Dialysis CKD Serum Creatinine of >5 mg, CKDU Not on Dialysis CKD estimated GFR <15 ml, CKDU Not on Dialysis CKD Small contracted kidney.
• The enhanced pensions mentioned at (a) shall be payable from ₁st April 2024 and disbursed from 1st July 2024 along with 3 months arrears. Thus, the amount to be disbursed under this category will be Rs.7000 in July 2024. Thereafter Rs.4000/- month shall be disbursed every month.
