The Government of Telangana has taken a crucial decision pertaining to LRS applications in the state. Effective from 2020 till 2024 there are around 25 lakh LRS Regularisation applications in the state.
The Congress government of Telangana which kept this process aside for a few months post details scrutiny has now ordered to process the applications.
Applications for plots will be processed in 3 stages and Applications for layouts will be processed in 4 phases. There will be a field level verification on the same from municipal, town planning and various other departments.
If any application is found invalid or if any documents found not proper, a notice of intimation will be sent to the applicant.
All the process is supposed to be taken up in the next 3 months.
