Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed the officials to prepare necessary budget plans to give gold along with cash to the beneficiaries of Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes.
What would beneficiaries get
Beneficiaries under Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes henceforth would get 1 Tula (10 grams) worth Gold along with 1 lakh rupees Cash. Gold will be provided to the bride on her marriage occasion.
The CM reviewed the budget proposals of the BC, minority and tribal welfare departments and took key decisions. The officials were directed to study the formation of BC study circle in every Lok Sabha constituency of the state. Proposals should be prepared to build their own buildings on a war foot basis for the Gurukulas who are in rented buildings.
Chief Minister made it clear that the diet, cosmetic charges and cooking bills for the students of welfare hostels and gurukula should be paid through the green channel putting them in pending.
He also mentioned that funds should be collected through CSR for infrastructure in welfare hostels, blankets, notebooks and uniforms for students. Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Seethakka, CS Shanti Kumari Government Adviser Shabbir Ali participated in the meeting.
He also directed the officials to prepare the plan for the caste census in Telangana.
