The new Government of Andhra Pradesh has released revised pension guidelines for the month of July 2024.
As per the revised guidelines, Staff belonging to Andhra Pradesh Village Ward Secretariats to distribute pension door to door effective from July every month.
Addressing to the media, AP Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy has revealed the details on Pension distribution. In the last government, Volunteers used to distribute the pension amount door to door. However as per the revised guidelines revealed by the minister it is the staff belonging to village ward secretariats to distribute the pension amount door to door.
All the pension amounts have to be distributed to the beneficiaries on the 1st day of the month.
The increased pension amount of Rupees 4000+ arrears together 7 thousand rupees will be distributed on 1st July 2024 at the door step. Disabled will get an increased amount of Rupees 6 thousand hence forth.
Upon questioning the minister on the role of volunteers, he mentioned that the government would soon roll out a clear job charter for the volunteers.
It is known that more than 60 thousand volunteers resigned during elections to participate in the election campaign most of them in favor of the previous government under Ycp. As the TDP government formed the government with a big majority , it has set aside the volunteers who had earlier resigned and decided to continue only those volunteers who are in service.
