Government of AP has decided to implement grama ujala scheme all over the state in full fledged manner . Earlier to this Union has selected 5 states to implement this scheme in Initial phase and both the telugu states were part of it. Union had set a target of 1 crore LED bulbs to be distributed across 5 states.
In the initial phase govt of AP had chosen 3 districts YSR kadapa, Chittoor, Kurnool districts and had already distributed 4.36 lakh LED bulbs.
Further to this govt has decided to expand the scheme across all 26 districts of the state.
Benefits of this scheme – ఈ పథకం ద్వారా ఉపయోగాలు ఏమిటి ?
Under this scheme LED bulbs shall be distributed to each household at a price of Rs. 10 per LED bulb per person.
Per household 4 LED bulbs shall be provided at 40 rupees.
