Educational Qualification for TS KGBV Recruitment 2023

Post	Educational Qualification
Post Graduate Contract Resident Teacher (PGCRT) (General Subjects)	A. Academic Qualifications i) A Post Graduate Degree in the subject concerned (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a University recognized by the UGC. In case of SC / ST /BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% AND ii) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or B.A. B.Ed / B.Sc. B.Ed from any institution recognized by NCTE or B.Ed. (Special Education) from any institution recognized by RCI with the subject concerned as a Methodology.
PG CRT in Nursing	Must possess M.Sc.(Nursing) / B.Sc. (Nursing) Four years or an equivalent qualification from any institution recognized by MCI with 50% marks In case of SC / ST /BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%
Special Officer	A. Academic Qualifications i. A Post Graduate Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a University recognized by the UGC. In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% AND ii. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. from any institution recognized by NCTE or B.Ed. (Special Education) from any institution recognized by RCI with the subject concerned as a Methodology. iii. Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) (Prior to 02.06.2014) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with Mathematics and Science (or) Social studies as Optional.
PET	Must possess Intermediate (or its equivalent) recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana with minimum 50% marks. (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) And A Certificate / Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education / Diploma in Physical Education from an institution recognized by the NCTE. OR Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) of at-least one year duration from any institution recognized by NCTE.

Selection Process for TS KGBV Recruitment 2023

for CRT posts: Based on marks obtained in written test (80% weightage), TET (20% weightage).
Special Officer: Based on marks obtained in written test (75% weightage), TET (20% weightage), work experience (5% weightage).
PGCET Posts: Based on marks obtained in written test (95% weightage), work experience (5% weightage).
PET Posts: Based on marks obtained in written test (100% weightage).
The recruitment exam will be held in objective (MCQ) mode in July.
