Selection Process for SSC Recruitment 2023
- As per the SSC – MTS & Havaldar 2022 notification, the selection process of the SSC MTS Exam includes an objective type computer-based exam in two sessions as follows. The Physical Test is conducted only for the CBIC & CBN Havaldar vacancies only.
- CBT Written Exam
- Physical Test (PET/ PST)- Only for Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Posts
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination

Computer-Based Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set in English, Hindi, and13 other regional languages.
There will be no negative marking in Session-I. In Session II, there will be a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.
Syllabus and Exam Pattern for SSC Recruitment 2023
Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Physical Test for SSC Recruitment 2023
- The Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) are conducted for the candidates who clear the written exams.
- The height requirement for the CBIC/ CBN Havaldar is 157.5 cm for Males and 152 cm for Females. Male candidates should also have a minimum chest size of 76 cm with at least 5cm expansion.
- Male candidates should also have to complete a walking test of 1.6 Km in 15 minutes. While the female candidates need to walk 1 Km in 20 minutes.
