SSC CPO 2022 Notification for 4300 Sub Inspector (SI) Vacancies

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the SSC CPO 2022 Exam Notification for Recruiting Sub Inspector (SI) Posts in Delhi Police and Various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) i.e. in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP & SSB. SSC has notified total 4300 vacancies through SSC CPO 2022 Exam. These vacancies are for regular appointment and available for both Male & Female Candidates.

Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria for SSC CPO

Candidates possessing Bachelor’s degree in Any Discipline from a recognized university or equivalent are eligible for SSC CPO Exam.

Candidates who have not yet acquired but will acquire the educational qualification, and produce documentary evidence from the Board/University in support thereof, as on 30.08.2022 will also be eligible for SSC CPO 2022.

Age Limit for SSC CPO SI

Age limit of the candidates for SSC CPO SI is from 20 to 25 years.

For SSC CPO 2022, candidates born not before 02.01.1997 and not later than 01.01.2002 are eligible to apply.

Age relaxation for various reserved categories will be as per GoI Rules.

Selection Process for SSC CPO SI

On the basis of their performance in SSC CPO Paper-I (including bonus marks in case of NCC certificate), candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in PET/PST Examination. The Commission shall have the discretion to fix different cutoff marks in each part of Paper-I taking into consideration among others, category-wise vacancies and category-wise number of candidates.

Only those candidates who qualified in PET/PST will be allowed to appear in SSC CPO Paper-II Examination.

On the basis of their performance in SSC CPO Paper-I and Paper-II (including bonus marks in case of NCC certificate), candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in Medical Examination.

Final selection and allocation of Post/Force will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper-I and Paper-II (including bonus marks in case of NCC certificate) and the preference of Posts/Forces exercised by them.

Application Fees for SSC CPO SI Exam

Rs 100/- (Rs. one hundred only). Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and ExServicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of fee.
