Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti under the Ministry of Education, Government of India invites applications for the below teaching posts across the country
Vacancy Details : Total posts: 1616
1) Principal: 12 posts
Eligibility: Masters degree with at least 50% marks along with B.Ed pass. Must have relevant work experience.
Age: Must not exceed 50 years.
2) PGT (Post Graduate Teachers): 397 posts
Eligibility: Two years integrated PG degree from RCE (NCERT) in relevant subjects with at least 50% marks, B.Ed. Pass.
Age: Must not exceed 40 years.
3) TGT (Trained Graduate Teachers): 683 Posts
4) TGT (Third Language): 343 Posts
Eligibility: Must have a four-year integrated degree from RCE (NCERT) with minimum of 50% marks in the relevant subjects as well as a B.Ed. degree pass and a CETE qualification.
Age: Must not exceed 35 years.
5) miscellaneous Category Teachers (Art, PET, Librarian): 181 Posts
Eligibility: Graduation, Diploma (Library Science), BPED, Diploma (Fine Arts), Bachelor’s Degree (Music). Must have experience in relevant work as well as knowledge in English, Hindi and regional languages.
Age criteria : Up to 35 Years
Selection Procedure: Based on merit in computer based test, interview or personal interview.

Application fee: Rs.2000 / – for Principal posts, Rs.1800 / – for PGT posts, Rs.1500 / – for TGT and Miscellaneous category teacher posts.
