Indian Navy SSC Executive IT Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in English in Class X or XII and meet one of the following educational qualifications with at least 60% overall marks:
MSc/ BE/ B.Tech/ M.Tech in:
Computer Science
Computer Science & Engineering
Computer Engineering
Information Technology
Software Systems
Cyber Security
System Administration & Networking

Artificial Intelligence
MCA with BCA/BSc (Computer Science/ Information Technology).
Age Limit
Candidates must be born between 2nd July 2000 and 1st January 2006 (inclusive dates).
NCC Candidates
NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders in the Naval/Army/Air Wing with a minimum ‘B’ grade will receive a 5% relaxation in cutoff marks for shortlisting, provided the certificate is dated after 1st June 2022.
Navy SSC Executive IT Recruitment 2024 Selection Procedure
Shortlisting:
Based on normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
For BE/B. Tech candidates marks up to the fifth semester will be considered.
For postgraduate candidates (MSc/MCA/M.Tech), marks in all semesters will be considered.
SSB Interview:
Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email/SMS.
SSB interviews include psychological testing, group testing, and personal interviews.
Travel allowance (AC 3-tier rail fare) is provided for first-time SSB interviewees.
Medical Examination:
Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a medical examination per naval standards.
Final Merit List:
Based on SSB performance, it is subject to medical fitness and the availability of vacancies.
Training and Commission
Selected candidates will be inducted in the rank of Sub Lieutenant.
Training will include:
Naval Orientation Course at INA, Ezhimala.
Professional training at Naval ships and establishments.
Tenure: Initially for 10 years, extendable by 4 years in two terms (2+2 years) based on service requirements, performance, and medical eligibility.
