Sports Proficiency

Direct Entry Petty Officer (Sports Entry)

Should be a medalist at Junior / Senior level by representing State in National competitions or have represented country at International level (Individual event).
Should have represented a State or country in National or International competitions at Junior/ Senior level (team event).
Should be medalist in Khelo India Games & Youth Games or above/.
The certificate from respective sports authorities (Federations) found accompany the recommendations of the candidates for final selections

Direct Entry Chief Petty Officer (Sports Entry)

Winner of any medal in World championship/ Asian championship.
Winner of any medal in Asian Games.
Winner of any medal in CWG/ World Cup.
Represented India twice in Asian Games/ Commonwealth Games/ World Cup.
On representing India in Olympics

Salary for Indian Navy Recruitment 2023

During the initial training period, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be admissible. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Pay Level 5 for Petty Officers and Pay level 6 for Chief Petty Officers. In addition, they will be paid MSP @ ₹ 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable).

Selection Process for Indian Navy Recruitment 2023

Deserving candidates would be called to appear for trials at designated Naval Centers. The candidates qualifying trials will undergo medical examination at INS Hamla, Mumbai. The offer of enrolment will be forwarded to the selected candidates only, which will be strictly determined by requirement in particular sports disciplines and availability of vacancies
Minimum Height Standards. Minimum height standards for male is 157 cms and for female is 152 cms
Medical Standards. Medical examination will be conducted by authorised military doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable on entry
