Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy Cadet Entry July 2026
Educational Qualification
- Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized board
- Minimum 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)
- Minimum 50% marks in English (Class 10 or Class 12)
- Must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2025
Age Limit
Candidates must be born between 02 January 2007 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive).
Selection Process – Indian Navy 10+2 B.Tech Entry
- Shortlisting: Based on JEE (Main) 2025 All India Common Rank List (CRL)
- SSB Interview: Conducted at Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata or Visakhapatnam from March 2026
- Medical Examination: As per Indian Navy medical standards

Training & B.Tech Degree Details
Selected candidates will be inducted as Cadets for a four-year B.Tech course in the following streams based on Naval requirements:

- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
On successful completion, candidates will be awarded a B.Tech degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). The entire cost of training, books, uniforms and messing will be borne by the Indian Navy.
