Government of Andhra Pradesh, Department of Directorate of Education is going to announce, AP TET-2024 notification; all the candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed) and candidates who are perusing 4th semester of the above said course are also eligible for attempting the examination
Salient features of AP TET-2024
- The AP TET aims to revolutionize the education system in the state by recruiting highly qualified and competent teachers to ensure every child receives quality education
- It aims to ensure that highly qualified, skilled, and motivated individuals are recruited as teachers to provide quality education to students
- To bring in utmost transparency and accuracy in the conduct of examinations APTET 2024 will be conducted through Computer Based Test in Paper-I(AandB) and Paper-II(AandB)
- The candidate who intends to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for Paper-I (A)
- candidates intending to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to appear for paper-II (A)
- The candidate who intends to be teachers for classes I to V in Special Education have to appear for the examination under Paper I (B)
- The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes from VI to VIII have to appear for paper II (B) in respect of Special Education.

Application for AP TET-2024
The fee towards submission of online application and for the conduct of computer based examination is Rs.750/- for each Paper-I (A), (B), Paper-II (A), (B) separately.
