However, before embarking on his journey in the film industry, he opted to change his name to Vishwak Sen. This decision was influenced by numerology and came at the suggestion of his father, who held the belief that success might elude him with his original birth name.

Vishwak Sen Career & Movies: Vishwak Sen embarked on his acting journey with “Bangaru Babu” in 2009 and later made his lead debut in “Vellipomakey” (2017). While “Vellipomakey” received above-average reviews, with The Times of India praising Sen’s natural performance as Chandu, it was in 2018’s “Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi,” directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam, where he gained significant acclaim. The film was both critically acclaimed and a commercial success.

Sen transitioned to directing with “Falaknuma Das” (2019), a remake of “Angamaly Diaries.” Despite mixed reviews, the film’s portrayal of Old City, Hyderabad, was commended. Heated Argument on a News Channel

On 2 May 2022, he appeared in a TV show on the news channel TV9 Telugu to promote his film. In the video that surfaced online, Vishwak can be seen giving an interview. However, soon their conversation turned into a heated argument.

He asked Devi to stop attacking him personally by calling him a ‘pagal sen’ and a ‘depressed person.’ Irked by his statement, Devi asked him to get out of the studio. Soon, the video went viral on social media and various netizens started criticising Devi for her behaviour. On the other hand, some netizens supported Devi for her brave attitude. Later, a case was filed against Vishwak in the State Human Rights Commission for allegedly creating controversy to promote his film.
