Varun Tej is an Indian film actor, his full name is Konidela Sai Varun Tej born on 19 January 1990 in Andhra Pradesh to Konidela Nagendra babu and Padmaja couple, and he has a sister named Niharika Konidela.

Varaun attended Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad for his schooling and later attended St. Mary’s College, Hyderabad for his graduation. He was married to Lavanya Tripathi actress on 1 November 2023.

Varun Tej made his acting debut as a child artist in Hands Up (2000) movie, later he acted in a lead role in the movie Mukunda (2014) after that his second lead role movie was Kanche which was critics acclaimed and for this movie he was nominated as Best Actor for South Indian International Movie Awards, later came Loafer and Mister movies were not a successful movies, in 2017 he saw a huge success with Fidaa movie which collected 90 crores of gross collections, later came Tholi Prema in 2018 was also a hit movie in the same year he acted in a space sci-fi movie Antariksham 9000 KMPH, after that he acted in F2, Gaddalakonda Ganesh, Ghani, F3: Fun and Frustration and Gandeevadhari Arjuna movies, his recent released movie in the year 2024 is Operation Valentine based on 2019 Pulwama attack.
